The app will turn on your device’s front camera to track your face. Latest face detection technology and computer vision (Google's Mobile Vision face API) is used to detect in real-time if you are laughing or smiling. We challenge you to try not to laugh for as long as possible.
Beware of distractions
During the challenge, the app will try to distract you from the goal of trying not to smile. A variety of jokes, short videos and funny animated GIFs from Giphy are displayed randomly, trying to make you laugh. Also other special effects, like augmented reality masks are applied, turning your face into a clown or animal.
The rules
The rules are simple in this app that challenges you to try not to laugh. First of all: do not laugh.
